Price & Payment Terms
- Payment Responsibility
- Unless otherwise agreed upon in writing, the purchaser agrees to pay the product price, plus any applicable sales taxes, use taxes, and any costs associated with custom selection, packing, and shipping of the product order to a designated location.
- Payment Requirement
- Complete payment by wire transfer, certified check, venmo, credit cards or cash must be received before Used Solar Panel Sales will pull, pack, load, and ship orders of any quantity.
- Alternate Selling Platforms
- Pricing on alternate selling platforms, such as (but not limited to) Facebook Marketplace, EnergyBin and eBay, is separate from those listed on the Used Solar Panel Sales website.
- Price and Quantity Changes
- Product price and available quantities are subject to change as inventory is sold on a first-paid basis. Quotes guarantee product price for thirty (30) days but do not guarantee available quantities for purchase. Solar panels are reserved only when payment is received.
- Shipping Quotes
- Quoted shipping costs are valid for seven (7) days. Orders paid after seven (7) days will need either a written confirmation of the shipping quote or a requote before the order is processed.
- Address Verification
- Orders with different billing and shipping addresses will require further verification.
- Packing and Logistics
- Purchasers have the right to organize their own packing and logistics. Used Solar Panel Sales will load pallets to either scheduled trucks or to the loading dock for self-pack projects. Purchases in increments of twenty (20) include pallets, packing, and loading to authorized logistics carriers.

Shipping Terms
- Order Quantities
- There are no minimum, maximum, or preset order quantities.
- Shipping Dates and Hours
- Unless otherwise requested, shipping dates are business days (Monday to Friday) during our warehouse hours (6 am to 4 pm). Weekends, evenings, and company holidays are an added cost and will be noted on all quotations.
- Shipping Quotes and Methods
- Shipping quotes, routes, and methods are based on the destination and are subject to change. All shipping quotes must be accepted and prepaid before Used Solar Panel Sales will pull, pack, load, and ship orders of any quantity.
- Shipping Damages
- Due to the materials that comprise solar panels and shipping methods, expect shipping damages from third-party carriers to occur. For large projects and basic shipments, factor in a 5% failure rate due to vibration, and loading/unloading. Used Solar Panel Sales will make every effort to pack, wrap, and strap all pallets for transport and is not responsible for damage that occurs during the shipping process. Custom packing is available on request.
- Shipping Delays
- Shipping delays happen. Used Solar Panel Sales is not responsible for schedules or delays by third-party carriers.
- Refunds and Replacements
- For refunds or replacements, please send an email to xx@xx.com with a description and photographs. If your order needs refunds due to shipping errors or damages in shipment, please submit a claim to the carrier. We will not send out replacements for panels damaged during shipping. We recommend purchasing extra panels to account for shipping damages so your project is not affected or delayed.
- Concealed Damage
- We must be notified of concealed damage (any damage not noted on the delivery slip upon delivery) within 3 days of delivery. We are not responsible for the disposal and/or any disposal fees associated with disposing of damaged panels. We will accept them back for recycling.
- Additional Freight Charges
- Potential additional freight charges include:
- Remote delivery
- Buildings without a loading dock or forklift
- Rescheduling or rerouting while en route
- White glove or specific packing instructions
- Handpacking
- Cross-docking
- Transfer between truck, sea, and train freight with or without repacking.
- Potential additional freight charges include:
- International Shipping
- International shipping to countries that have adopted the Basel Convention is available. Each international order will be quoted with a breakdown of logistics. Used Solar Panel Sales is not responsible for customs costs, tariffs, or taxes of any kind.
Packaging and Transit Responsibility
- Adequate Packaging
- Purchasers are responsible for ensuring that solar panel shipment packaging is adequate to prevent damage in transit. Used Solar Panel Sales is not responsible for damage to the product due to insufficient packaging.
- Photographic Documentation
- Used Solar Panel Sales reserves the right to photograph all solar panels packed by us before, during, and after packing and loading. We also reserve the right to request and review visual evidence, such as video or photography, of damaged panels upon arrival at the destination.
- Acts of God
- Used Solar Panel Sales is not responsible for weather and other Acts of God that may affect the safe and reliable transport of solar panel orders.
- Transit Damage
- Solar panels that are properly packaged, transported, delivered, and unloaded but are still damaged in transit will be replaced by Used Solar Panel Sales.
- Defective Condition Handling
- Solar panels that arrive in defective condition must be shipped to Commercial Solar Panel Recycling at the purchaser’s expense for responsible recycling. Upon receipt, if replacement solar panels are in inventory, they will be shipped at no charge to the original purchaser to the same location. If there is no inventory or comparable unit available, the original cost of the damaged solar panels will be fully refunded.

Will Call Orders
- Will call orders paid in cash do not include a warranty.
- For prepaid, will call orders over $1000, a copy of the receipt and a photo ID are required to release the products. If someone other than a third-party carrier with a Bill of Lading (BOL) is picking up the order, they must provide a copy of the receipt, a copy of the purchaser’s photo ID, a signed release with their name, and their state-issued ID.
- Will call and self-pack orders at Used Solar Panel Sales warehouses require an appointment.
- Will call orders for fewer than twenty pallets do not include pallets, packing, or loading. These services are available at an additional cost to the buyer.
- Prepaid panel sales will be held for pickup for thirty (30) days. After this period, the order will be canceled and the payment refunded by check. If the same buyer reorders the panels, a 25% surcharge will be applied for each thirty (30) day expiration period.
- If your vehicle can use the loading dock and your purchase is palletized and wrapped as part of the sale, Used Solar Panel Sales will load your vehicle with our forklift. All loads will be photographed before, during, and after loading.
- Transporting solar panels in a personal vehicle is at your own risk. Used Solar Panel Sales will not assist in loading or securing solar panels in personal vehicles. We are not liable for any damage to your vehicle (including scratches, rips, dents, breakage to fabric, leather, interior, or exterior) resulting from loading or transporting solar panels. Additionally, we are not liable for any injuries sustained while loading and securing solar panels in a personal vehicle.
- We offer a delivery service within 150 miles from our warehouses. Please provide a delivery address for a quote.
